Late August, the ground is nice and damp and the days are getting longer. Another 100 trees in the ground.

By the boot load

It's all in an afternoons work. Here we are up on the hill at one of the planting sites with a collection of ornamental and carbon seqestering trees ready for planting.

Summer!

The hot dry days of summer have parched the grass and dried out the earth. Some of the trees have died but this Walnut, recently transplanted from a Christchurch vege garden is still alive and well.
